The sky was an azure blue. Marshmallow clouds dotted across the sky. I was at home. Mother gave me fifty dollars to buy a textbook. I was expecting just to buy the textbook but little did I know something bad was going to happen thanks to my impulsivity.
I eagerly waited for recess to buy the textbook. During recess, I ran as fast as my legs could take me to the bookshop. When I was about to buy the textbook, something caught my eye. It was a legendary Pokémon pack. Without hesitation, I changed my mind and decided to buy the legendary Pokémon pack for $47. After buying it, I decided to open it in class.
In class, I quickly went to my seat to open the legendary Pokémon pack. While I was opening the pack, “What are you doing?” boomed a voice behind me. I turned around slowly and saw my teacher staring at me. My teacher confronted me and asked where was the textbook. When she found out that I used the money for the textbook to buy Pokémon cards, she was livid and chastised me severely. She pulled me by the ear to the principal’s office. She confiscated the Pokémon pack and my parents were called.
I was given a tongue lashing. My principal was livid and chastised me severely. I learnt to spend my money wisely and vowed never to be impulsive again.
